St Michael’s Day and a fabulous weekend at the Farm!
This weekend we’re celebrating St Michael’s Day, which is observed throughout Europe farmers’ festival. This day marks an important turning point in the agricultural year. It is the start of the grape harvest in the Great Plain and the area around Eger. On St Michael’s Day, the livestock that had been driven out to pasture on St George’s Day returned from the pastures.
