Easter is one of the most important Christian festivals, when the resurrection of Jesus is celebrated around the world.
During this period, people celebrated the anticipation of spring, the arrival of spring and fertility; at this time, they prayed for a bountiful harvest and the proliferation of livestock. This is how the rabbit became associated with the egg: the rabbit is a prolific animal, whilst the egg embodies the promise of life.
If it’s Easter, it’s Katica Tanya!
