A lot has happened at Katica Tanya. Our herd has grown: our youngest little lamb, Bendeg\u00faz, was born in February, and in April <a href=\"https:\/\/katicatanya.hu\/hirek\/elet-a-tanyan\/ujabb-kis-joszaggal-bovult-a-tanya!.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lola, the donkey\u2019s foal<\/a> 20 chicks hatched and came into the world. The rabbits have also been breeding, as have the guinea pigs, so we\u2019ve welcomed several new litters of pets into our home.<\/p>\n<p>However, we now have to share two pieces of sad news with you regarding our llama family. Zs\u00f3fi, our youngest llama, recently passed away suddenly and without warning. We had barely recovered from this when Sacina, our other female llama, went into labour; however, despite the professional care and the efforts of our colleagues, she was unable to give birth to her calf, and we have lost them both. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>We have kept animals for a long time and have witnessed many births and deaths alike. Even though we know this is the cycle of life, it still affects us deeply<a href=\"https:\/\/katicatanya.hu\/hirek\/elet-a-tanyan\/bucsuzunk-toled-gomboc.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> the loss of our beloved pets<\/a>.
